And now, of course, we have an entirely new chapter in the history of the Jedi with the arrival of a new trilogy starting with The Force Awakens. For over a thousand generations the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic… The Jedi have inspired our imaginations for decades now, from the early days of Luke, Obi-Wan and Yoda, through the Prequel adventures where we saw the Jedi Order in their prime, and on into the excellent Clone Wars animated series and beyond.
